Each photo was taken to illustrate a word or phrase. Some more successful than others. Some are personal and specific to the time and place while some are literal and universally recognisable. I enjoyed the feel of handling a large stack of printed photos. Sifting through, organising and remembering their numbers and meanings. I have tried to replicate this in an interactive showcase of the best 35.
